The official launch of this year's Sleeping Giant Writers Festival is here.

The Sleeping Giant Writers Festival invites the media to attend the launch of the Fifth Annual Sleeping Giant Writers Festival at the Waverley Resource Library, Tuesday, June 10 at 2 p.m. The festival will take place August 22, 23 and 24 at the Prince Arthur Waterfront Hotel.

The goal of the first festival in 2004 was to have Thunder Bay become a literary destination. Now Thunder Bay is a literary destination for authors and writers and it attracts award winning nationally and internationally established writers. The SGWF is pleased to announce the exciting line up of authors who will attend this year's festival and the workshop schedule.
